What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Identifiable information may be collected including Full Name, Address (both Billing and Delivery), Email, Phone Numbers and Payment Methods. Note: We do not store any Payment Information. We use only support secure PayPal payments and bank transfers; all of these information outlined in the paragraph are required to place an order.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Any information that you fill out via the contact form will be encrypted and sent over to us directly.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Analytics

We follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

This service helps us understand what you and other users like and don’t like with PAR Shop, so that we can provide you with a better service. Who we share your data with

PAR Shop doesn’t share any of your personal data with any third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username), upon request from the website administrators, who can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

At the time of creating a account with PAR Shop, we require you to provide us with your contact information, which we may use to contact you if we require. NOTE: At the time of registration, we do not ask you whether you want to receive any special offers/newsletters etc. as we keep this information strictly secure and not available anywhere outside PAR Shop. How we protect your data

PAR Shop has taken every possible security measure possible to keep your data safe. All information is securely stored on our servers.  Sensitive information (e.g. passwords) are stored in hidden strings, called a hashes, therefore in the really unlikely event of a security breach, rest assured that such information will be safe. We also third party software to monitor suspicious activity on this server and also prevent unauthorised access to certain parts of the websites.

PAR Shop has created a carefully planned procedure in the unlikely event of a security breach. For security reasons, we will not publish it.

PAR Shop doesn’t receive any data from third parties.
